Florida Hybrid Back, Percy Harvin, is an outstanding player, yet he will never win a Heisman award at the University of Florida for a couple of reasons:
1. Tim Tebow - Its sad to say, but the Harvin in Florida's work horse and Tim Tebow is the jockey. As long as "Super Timmy" is on campus, the Gator faithful will never show Heisman mercy to Mr. Percy.
2. Injuries - Percy Harvin is an injury prone player. Harvin can't stay healthy for anything because he sits out the spring game every year and usually the first game or second game of the regular season. If Harvin doesn't play in every game, he can't win the Heisman trophy.
This is my opinion, what is yours?

Well, Florida fans, the recruiting rankings from the last three years were accurate. The Gators had an outstanding showing in the season opener against Hawaii. The offense, defense and special teams units played exceptional. There is no question that Urban Meyer's squad should tryout for the United States Olympic Track Team. The offensive running game left me dizzy a hour after the game ended. Chris Rainey (3), Jeffrey Demps (2) and Brandon James (25) should allow Percy Harvin (1) to play his natural wide receiver position. Defensively, Charlie Strong scheme blow out the Hawaii's candles quick. The defensive ends and tackles were applying pressure to allow the "quick bandit" defensive backs to break on four interceptions (two return back to the crib for six). The scary thought is that Brandon Spikes (51) didn't participate. Brandon James is the best punt returner in the country and he proved it with a 74-yard punt return for a touchdown. A complete team effort led to 56-10 victory over the Warriors. Hurricanes beware...
